Where To Find The Best River Spots For Relaxation in Slovenia
Slovenia is a country which is centrally located in the southern part of Europe, neighboured by Italy, Austria, Croatia and has many natural attractions for tourists. Slovenia has many rivers that offer excellent spots for relaxation.
The Drava River is the longest river in Slovenia and flows from west to east, while the Sava River is the second-longest river in Slovenia and it flows from south to north.
The best river spots for relaxation in Slovenia are the Soča River, the Kamnik Bistrica River, and the Ljubljanica River. There are many other rivers in Slovenia that offer great spots for relaxation but these three stand out among them. If you want to see beautiful views of Slovenian nature while enjoying a nice spot by a river then check out one of these three locations
All three rivers also boast some amazing wildlife with animals such as deer and boars living along their banks. These types of luxuries make it easy to forget about your worries, which is why finding a place near a river can be so beneficial for anyone’s mental health.
Rivers such as the Sava River or Kupa River do not have enough water flow to be considered relaxing; they’re more like streams
One of the most popular activities to do in Slovenia is kayaking on one of their many rivers.
The Krka River is a great spot for those who want to find peace and relaxation as it’s not too fast or rocky. The Krka River runs through a beautiful valley where you can find waterfalls and rapids, perfect for kayaking or rafting!
For those who would prefer to relax on the shore, Slapovica Lake offers beautiful views with plenty of space for picnicking.
If you’re looking for an adrenaline rush, then head right over to the Soča River where there are both rapids and calm parts depending on your preference, all of them are beautiful.
Visit Lake Bled, a popular tourist attraction with breathtaking views of its surrounding mountains.

If you are not a river person then why don’t you relax on one of the beaches along Croatia’s coast if you’re looking for something more serene than an active adventure trip. There is even a small coastline in Slovenia.
One of Slovenian’s most famous natural wonders is Predjama Castle – this castle was built into a cave system so it couldn’t be attacked by enemies. So in between river watching and other tourist attractions, check that out as well.

I never knew about Slovenia until I read this. I like to travel, and i’d like to think I know a lot of places in this world, but I missed this purl of a gem when it comes to them. With all the amazing rivers stretching from relaxation to pure adrenaline who wouldn’t want to come to Slovenia? It even has a coastline, with a little bit of everything I am anticipated to see such a paradise.
Hi Taine, thank you very much for dropping by and commenting. Slovenia is a beautiful little country and well worth taking the time to visit its amazing mountains, lakes and rivers. I first went there in 2015 and bought a house in the Triglav National Park as I was so impressed with the countryside and nature there. In winter it is especially lovely, enjoy your travels wherever you go and stay safe, cheers Alan

locality. We have noticed that there are many different types of
snails, for example, slugs are a related species that is different to
Snails. Slugs do not have shells and they move very quickly, compared to
snails. We will study this species separately. This post is about
Snails. There are over 100 different species
